Book Review: Confetti & Confusion by Daisy James

Book Rating

Book Review

Quick synopsis: Millie, getting over a recent break up, is teaching cooking classes in the Caribbean to a group of women there for the destination wedding of their dreams. However, things start going wrong quickly. Will Millie be able to help pull it together for the couple?

Confetti & Confusion was so fun! I keep reading books that are sequels out of order. *insert facepalm here* However, Daisy James provided enough back information to where I wasn’t confused and it worked as a bit of a stand-alone novel.

Confetti & Confusion was such a fun, quick read! It’s been a while since I’ve blazed through an entire book on a workday, but I couldn’t seem to put this one down. I was so in love with the characters and the plot moved along quickly enough to keep me interested! I have lately been needing a break from some of the heavier novels I’ve been reading and podcasts I’ve been listening to, and this was the perfect book to provide just that!

The characters in this novel were realistic, refreshing, and relatable, which is always good. Except I certainly am jealous that she is working in the Caribbean; I can’t quite relate to that! I am definitely going to check out the first book in the series, and the third is coming soon and I’m so excited about it. I can’t wait to see what Millie gets up to next.

If you are looking for a light, quick read, look no further than here!

A big shoutout to Ellie Pilcher for inviting me on the blog tour for this book. I am excited to be a part of it! If you want to see the other bloggers on the tour, check out the schedule below:
