Book Review: And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

Book Rating

Book Review

And Then There Were None was my first venture with an Agatha Christie book, which kind of surprises me now, knowing she’s the “Queen of Mystery” and apparently super popular. What can I say? I must be living under a rock. This was also my first venture with an audio book when I’m not specifically getting it for a car ride. And, what can I say, I’m now addicted to audio books. Walking my pup, showering, cooking, doing anything that doesn’t require my full attention and does require two hands… I was in it to win it, addicted. And I now can say safely I will be listening to a ton of audio books. The only bummer is that I can’t get a great picture because I don’t own the book! So, back to the review…

I really can’t summarize this book without any spoilers, so you’re just going to have to take my word for it… This book was good. It built a ton of suspense. And if you pay close, close attention, you can almost guess the answer…almost. I almost did; I am proud to say! I never could have guessed the entire thing, but I had the general idea pegged.

This was a mystery that kept me totally enraptured the whole time, and was really entertaining. My favorite two characters lasted long enough for me to like them even more. I am very happy with the ending and how it was wrapped up. Needless to say, this book did not disappoint. I will be checking out more by the Queen of Mystery!
