Book Review: Behind Closed Doors by B. A. Paris

Wow. That would be the direct reaction I had to this book–just wow. I finished it in one day. Still on vacation, so I brought it with me to the beach and to the pool and I looked at everyone with new suspicious eyes. Who is hiding what? Who is lying about what?

Jack Angel is a piece of work. I won’t give anything away, but the thought that people like him exist in this world is terrifying. I had to close the book to eat and I was eyeing everyone wondering what was going on in their minds.

The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have a few questions that were left unanswered. Maybe Paris did that on purpose but I like to have books like this neatly wrapped up.

I highly recommend this book. It is a great read, very fast-paced, and well executed. And remember, always be suspicious of perfection.
